“The medicine wheel represents the circle of all life. When you sit in the wheel and evoke the sacred, all life comes to sit in council. The human, only one member of the web of life, can use the ceremony of the wheel to restore contact with all the relations of life. The animal relations, plant relations, stone people, spirit relations, all things come to sit in council. Our connections with the world are thus restored and the healing of the Earth begins anew.”
~ Stephen Harrod Buhner
Living the way of the Sacred Directions
Come gather in the circle as Scott Nelson, Spirit Keeper Brother, shares the sacred teachings of the Anishinaabe Medicine Wheel. These ancient teachings offer more than wisdom — they are a way of living, a path back to balance with the Earth, with Spirit, with community, and within ourselves.
The Medicine Wheel is both a mirror and a map. It reflects the interconnectedness of all things, while guiding us through the cycles of life — the seasons, the elements, the stages of our own growth and becoming. Each direction holds its own gifts, responsibilities, and medicine, reminding us that nothing in life stands alone. When we walk with this awareness, we begin to see harmony not as something outside of us, but as something we cultivate and carry within.
This series of gatherings is designed as a course, so you can receive the full circle of teachings, but drop-ins are always welcome. Each session carries its own unique power and lessons, building on one another while standing whole in themselves.
DATES:
